Lemongrass Essential Oil  is extracted from the fresh or dried wild grass (India, Africa or West Indies) and produces the most lemony earth fragrance. If you've ever been on holiday in the East you will recognise its gorgeous smell.

It is popular in soaps for its antiseptic qualities and in bath oils for its ability to relieve stress and be a general tonic. However, it is important to make sure you have diluted it in a carrier as it does have high levels of Citral which can be an irritant.
