Melt and Pour Soap bases already contain ingredients sourced from Palm and Coconut Oil, but there's nothing like adding a bit of luxury butter to give your Soap Bar that extra pampering quality.
Adding a small amount of butter - Shea Butter, Mango Butter or Cocoa Butter can make all the difference to the final result.
Soaps made using the Cold Process method can also benefit from the added luxury touch. We've also included all the oils you would need for making Cold Process soaps plus Sodium Hydroxide (Lye) which is a core ingredient.
Sometimes a plain soap just isn't enough and so we offer decorations and extra to enhance your products.
Adding a tiny amount of glitter will give your soap that added sparkle at Christmas time. Using your imagination you can create some great soaps.
Dried Flowers provide a great way of decorating your Soaps and adding an extra visual touch of luxury. Who can resist a single red rose bud on a bar of soap - it looks so exclusive.
It is best to use them as a decoration after the soap has been made as adding them directly to the soap base will cause the flowers to discolour and turn brown which really doesn't look very attractive. The flowers will absorb the moisture from the soap and gradually turn a very dull colour. This will apply to both Melt and Pour Soaps and Cold Process Soaps.
Using Herbs and Fruits to decorate your soaps is an interesting way of bring a new dimension to them.
Liquid Soaps are increasing in popularity all the time and it is very quick and easy to create a great product.
Our Organic Liquid Hand Soap is ready to use straight out of the container, just add fragrance and colour if you wish. It can easily be thickened by adding simple fine table salt, or you may find that your fragrance or essential oil will thicken it. It is best to try on a small amount first before starting large scale production.
