Liquid Crystal Concentrate is a concentrated blend of surfactants that can create a variety of products from liquid soap to bubble bath.
Simply dilute with water to the concentration you require and use a salt solution to thicken if necessary.
It will produce lots of creamy lather and a clear base which is ideal for colouring with a liquid dye and for adding fragrance or essential oils. If you wish to have pearlescent then why not add the Liquid Pearliser product.
The Liquid Crystal Concentrate is an ideal cost effective way of producing many different solutions from the same base product.
This product is much easier to handle when warmed up as it tends to look white and gets very thick when cold. If you do have a problem with this, stand the bottle in hot water before you want to use it.
Decide on the final weight of your product and weigh out the Concentrate accordingly.
The solution needs to be between 15-25% of the Concentrate with the rest being made up of deionised/softened water.
So for example 20% Concentrate + 80% deionised water or 15% Concentrate + 85% deionised water.
Add up to 0.5% fragrance or essential oil and mix together for at least 10 minutes until the oils are evenly dispersed. You can add more but it may affect the clarity of the product.
While you are mixing, add a 20% salt solution (again made from deionised water) until it is fully mixed in and your have the thickness (viscosity) you want.
Then bottle and label. Simple!
