Do you accept Purchase Orders?

If you are a school and would like to place a Purchase Order with us, then this is straight forward to do.

You can either place your order on line as normal, but select the Purchase Order payment option. You will then be prompted for the Purchase Order number.

Once the order has been placed, then email a copy of the official purchase order to admin@justasoap.co.uk and your order will be processed as normal.

Remember that unless we receive a copy of the official order we cannot process it further.

Why is this? quite simply, we need to know that it is an official order and that the funds are available for payment.

If you are unsure, then email us through the order and we will enter the order for you.

What Happens When You Place an Order

You've hit the CONFIRM button  to place an order - so what happens now?

The order is entered in our website and within minutes is transferred over to our warehouse management system which sits on a different piece of software.  

All of our products have barcodes which record their location in the warehouse.

The warehouse management system automatically checks the items' availability and location in the warehouse and loads the order into the scanners ready for picking by one of the warehouse team.

The order is printed out and the main barcode on the invoice is scanned by the JAS picker.

The order can now be picked.  All the items are shown on the scanning device telling the JAS picker where to go in the warehouse to pick them and how many to pick and put in the picking crate.

The crate containing the order items is then taken to the packing area.

The JAS packer scans the barcodes of each item, just like in a supermarket, which checks that each item is in the order.  We also video each pack scan so we can be sure that nothing has been overlooked.

Once all the items have been packed,  the scanner will tell the JAS packer that the order is finished.

The items are packed in the box and sealed.  Once tap of the mouse and the correct courier label is printed out and ready to applied to the box.  

Done - just ready for it to be collected by the courier later on in the day.

What Happens When You Place an Order

So you've pressed the CONFIRM button and submitted your order.

What happens next?

Our warehouse manegement system automatically allocates your chosen products to your order so no one else can come along and order them.  The order is automatically despatched to the picking gun ready for one of the warehouse team to come along and pick the order - actually take the items off the shelf and put them into a box.

As all of our items are barcoded we use the guns to direct the team to where the products are in the warehouse.  At the end of the picking process, the box is sealed and the courier label applied.  Finally, at the end of the day the courier collects the boxes and off they go to the sorting hub ready for the courier delivery process to start.

As you can imagine some weeks during the year are busier than others with peak times being from October to the beginning of December.  This is when things really start hotting up and the phrase "busy busy busy" is the order of the day.
