Do you accept Purchase Orders?

If you are a school and would like to place a Purchase Order with us, then this is straight forward to do.

You can either place your order on line as normal, but select the Purchase Order payment option. You will then be prompted for the Purchase Order number.

Once the order has been placed, then email a copy of the official purchase order to and your order will be processed as normal.

Remember that unless we receive a copy of the official order we cannot process it further.

Why is this? quite simply, we need to know that it is an official order and that the funds are available for payment.

If you are unsure, then email us through the order and we will enter the order for you.

Where's my Order?

All orders are currently sent via DPD couriers so what actually happens when it's out for delivery...

An email will be sent by them when the delivery is confirmed.  They will be able to give you a one hour window for delivery too and if you have provided a mobile phone number a text will be sent to your phone.  This communication will also give you the chance to reschedule delivery, leave the parcel in a safe place or leave with a neighbour.

On the day of delivery, you should be able to track the progress of your driver via the DPD website so you can down to a 15 minute window.

By contacting DPD you will be getting a much quicker response to your query and they have people there to help you.

If you do have a problem with your order then DPD have a team who are dedicated to sorting problems out.  They are open from 9am till 9pm Monday to Friday and 8am till 1pm on Saturday to help you.

If you still have a problem with delivery then do contact us so we can intervene and get the parcel to you.

What Happens When You Place an Order

You've hit the CONFIRM button  to place an order - so what happens now?

The order is entered in our website and within minutes is transferred over to our warehouse management system which sits on a different piece of software.  

All of our products have barcodes which record their location in the warehouse.

The warehouse management system automatically checks the items' availability and location in the warehouse and loads the order into the scanners ready for picking by one of the warehouse team.

The order is printed out and the main barcode on the invoice is scanned by the JAS picker.

The order can now be picked.  All the items are shown on the scanning device telling the JAS picker where to go in the warehouse to pick them and how many to pick and put in the picking crate.

The crate containing the order items is then taken to the packing area.

The JAS packer scans the barcodes of each item, just like in a supermarket, which checks that each item is in the order.  We also video each pack scan so we can be sure that nothing has been overlooked.

Once all the items have been packed,  the scanner will tell the JAS packer that the order is finished.

The items are packed in the box and sealed.  Once tap of the mouse and the correct courier label is printed out and ready to applied to the box.  

Done - just ready for it to be collected by the courier later on in the day.
