What Happens When You Place an Order

So you've pressed the CONFIRM button and submitted your order.

What happens next?

Our warehouse manegement system automatically allocates your chosen products to your order so no one else can come along and order them.  The order is automatically despatched to the picking gun ready for one of the warehouse team to come along and pick the order - actually take the items off the shelf and put them into a box.

As all of our items are barcoded we use the guns to direct the team to where the products are in the warehouse.  At the end of the picking process, the box is sealed and the courier label applied.  Finally, at the end of the day the courier collects the boxes and off they go to the sorting hub ready for the courier delivery process to start.

As you can imagine some weeks during the year are busier than others with peak times being from October to the beginning of December.  This is when things really start hotting up and the phrase "busy busy busy" is the order of the day.

 

Returning an Item

Can I return something?

The simple answer is yes and we do have a 30-day returns policy if you do wish to send an unused/unopened item back.  We do not accept returns of opened fragrance oils so please consider buying a smaller size if this is new for you.

All we ask is that you contact us first so we know that your goods are coming back to us. The RETURNS FORM can be downloaded here.

Returning goods within 14 days

By law, all customers in the EU have a 14 working day cooling off period in which they can withdraw from the contract. The 14 days start from the day after the goods were delivered. To cancel the whole order within this time, please notify us in writing at enquiry@justasoap.co.uk with  the cancellation details including the order number and then return the goods to us.

Where there has been no error on our part with the original order, as soon as we have received the returned goods, we will issue you with a refund for the cost of the goods and the cost of the outgoing delivery charge that you paid. We do not refund the cost of returning the goods to us. We may be able to arrange the courier to collect an item if it is heavy but the cost of this will be deducted from the overall refund.

If you have paid for Express/Saturday service, we will only refund the cost of standard delivery.

If you cancel only part of your order, we will not refund any outgoing delivery costs.

Returning goods after 14 days

After the 14-day period you are still able to return goods to us up to 30 days after delivery. Where there has been no error on our part, we will only refund the cost of the goods. We will not refund any delivery/return costs in connection with the purchase.

In all cases, all goods must be in unused condition with packaging intact. Unfortunately we are not able to accept returns of fragrances or colours that have been opened so if you are unsure of a fragrance we suggest buying the smallest size.

Where's my Order?

All orders are currently sent via DPD couriers so what actually happens when it's out for delivery...

An email will be sent by them when the delivery is confirmed.  They will be able to give you a one hour window for delivery too and if you have provided a mobile phone number a text will be sent to your phone.  This communication will also give you the chance to reschedule delivery, leave the parcel in a safe place or leave with a neighbour.

On the day of delivery, you should be able to track the progress of your driver via the DPD website so you can down to a 15 minute window.

By contacting DPD you will be getting a much quicker response to your query and they have people there to help you.

If you do have a problem with your order then DPD have a team who are dedicated to sorting problems out.  They are open from 9am till 9pm Monday to Friday and 8am till 1pm on Saturday to help you.

If you still have a problem with delivery then do contact us so we can intervene and get the parcel to you.
