First Aid Measures (Symptoms)

Skin contact: There may be mild irritation at the site of contact.

Eye Contact: There may be irritation and redness.

Ingestion: Low oral toxicity.

Inhalation: exposure may cause coughing or wheezing.

First Aid Measures (Actions)

Skin contact: remove all contaminated clothes and footwear immediately unless stuck to skin.  Drench the affected area with running water for 10 minutes or longer if substance is still on skin.

Eye contact: bathe the eye with running water for 15 minutes.  If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.

Ingestion: do not induce vomiting.  If conscious, give 1 pint of water to drink immediately.

Inhalation: remove casualty from exposure ensuring one’s own safety whilst doing so.  If unconscious and breathing is OK, place in the recovery position.  Consult a doctor.

Fire-Fighting Measures

Extinguishing media: water spray.  Carbon dioxide.  Alcohol or polymer foam.  Dry chemical powder.

Exposure hazards: material is not flammable.

Protection of fire fighters: wear self-contained breathing apparatus.  Wear protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes.
