Acute oral rat LD50 3.4ml/kg (DLJ Opdyke FCT 1975). Skin sensitizer. Effects reduced when applied to skin in
combination with eugenol and d-limonene.
IFRA recommends that cinnamon oil should not be used as a fragrance ingredients
at a level of over 0.2% in the final product due to its sensitizing potential.
